I am a Board Eligible General Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of mental illness for patient's from age 14 and above. I have a strong interest in treatment of depressive disorders and generalized anxiety disorders, and also treat patients suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, bipolar spectrum disorders, and adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as a host other mental health issues. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities and am able provide psychotherapy in addition to prescribing psychiatric medications. However, I often work with psychotherapists in the community to coordinate medication management with psychotherapeutic treatment from another provider. I have pursued additional training in adolescent psychiatry and particularly enjoy working with this population.
