Craig Cato, LPC In 2000, after a 25 year career in technology, I changed careers to pursue my passion for counseling. Although I do some individual counseling, my real passion is to help couples, families, and blended families improve and enjoy their relationships. With a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Counseling and Human Services, I have quite a unique background. In additon to being a licensed counselor, my role as an ordained minister permits me to address Christian spirituality if requested. Married since 1976, I have a wonderful wife, two delightful grown daughters, and a granddaughter who is beyond words. Please don't take from these words that my marriage and family situation has always been perfect. I have plenty of experience to help me connect with marriage and family crisis! In particular, the three years my wife was depressed motivated me to write a book on surviving depression within marriage. Watch for the title "Solo on a Tandem Bicycle; Hope When Your Spouse is Depressed", which should be published in late 2010 or early 2011. I look forward to discovering if I can be of assistance to you, your marriage, or your family. I can be reached by either phone (719-659-8423) or send an email for more information. After 15 years of military & government service, followed by an additional 10 years as a network engineer in the private sector, I decided to follow my passion and combine my love of horses with my desire to help people. After completing my Master's Degree in Counseling through Regis University I started an Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy practice founded on the EPONA Way of the Horse philosophy. These services are conducted either in the office or at the barn and are private and confidential. I provide a sliding fee scale based on the client's income so counseling may be available to everyone regardless of economic status or financial hardships. Counseling services are available for children, adolescents, adults, individuals, couple and families.
